I don’t know what to title. Just whatever…
Well, FedEx came and went this morning. So, I called and was told that I could pick up the package at their hub (or whatever it’s called). Ok, it’s not that far from where I live – off Harpers Ferry Rd, or Hollins Ferry Rd… one or the other – so after work I headed in that direction. The directions Greg sent me were way off! Or, I had the map upside down… either way I wasn’t in the right direction when low and behold there was a FedEx truck at a gas station!! So, I pull into the gas station and flag the truck driver down (damsel in distress cuteness) and asked him if I was close and turns out I was across the street from the place! Yeah, I never would have found it if I didn’t ask for help.
Work was so slow today, but that was good because I got to spend a lot of time looking at the Bride: Maryland magazine and think about alternative wedding dates. So far, I’ve come up with 02/07/09 (but that would only give us a year to plan and mentally, I’m not that ready); 05/25/09 or 09/07/09. So far, I am thinking the September date is better for us (which is Labor Day). I know this goes against my whole “month and date matching”, but I did the same thing when I married Adam (08/08/03) and I should probably do something different. Besides, 09/07/09 kinda looks neat written out (as on save-the-date magnets, wedding invitations, etc).
Greg and I learned who did what they did last night and now we’re planning our steps carefully and seeing if they’re going to do something next. We’ve contacted a few people in law enforcement to know where we are within our rights. I do not take (pre) harassment towards my family very well and be damned if they think they’re going to get away with it. In any event, I’ve suggested that we consult with a lawyer (within the next few years) and try to get the ‘story’ straight.
I brought my camera with me today and was playing with the Macro setting, my favorite setting, and took the following picture:
What’s neat about the picture is that it looks like the camera focused on the image on my eye rather than the acutal eye; you can see the camera and the computer screen so clearly on my eye! Isn’t that just freaky cool?
